The staircase as the heart of the villa. Every home has its dominant feature – and in this modern villa in Ostrava, Czechia, it is undoubtedly the wooden staircase with a glass balustrade. Yet such an architectural statement called for more than functionality. It needed a luminous jewel to highlight its beauty and create atmosphere.
A bespoke lighting piece
The choice fell on the L-TAL model, which we tailored to the proportions of the house. Seven glass spheres in three different sizes were suspended at different heights to harmonize with the architecture of the staircase and create a striking view from both the ground floor and the upper level. Each step is accompanied by a dance of sparkle and reflections.
Inside each smooth glass sphere, cut crystals shimmer, refracting light into thousands of sparkles reminiscent of fresh morning dew. The result is an atmosphere of luxury, elegance, and homely comfort.
One cable, a million possibilities
Pendant lights on cables have become increasingly popular for their lightness and versatility. Thanks to adjustable cords, the suspension length can be easily modified – whether for soaring loft ceilings or standard living spaces.
Light that connects interior and nature
A second installation of this chandelier enhances the dining area overlooking the garden. The spheres, evoking dewdrops, naturally complement the greenery outside the windows. Each meal thus becomes a moment of harmony between modern interior design and the beauty of nature.

We offer L-TAL lighting fixtures in several finishes – classic gold for a luxurious touch, bright silver for a fresh, modern feel, satin silver for a subtle, minimalist look, or warm copper for a distinctive accent.
